West Farm Staff Complete Alzheimer’s Memory Walk for Dementia Awareness

Staff from West Farm recently took on the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk challenge, walking from West Farm to Craig Healthcare’s sister home, Cramlington House, in support of our residents living with dementia. The dedicated team completed the walk in an impressive 2 hours and 20 minutes, all while raising awareness for dementia care.

The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk is an initiative designed to bring communities together, raising both funds and awareness for those living with the condition. Although the residents could not participate, the staff walked on their behalf, proudly carrying signs and wearing Dementia UK t-shirts to show their support.

Zahra Karimi, West Farm’s manager, reflected on the event:  “Our staff were so motivated to take on this challenge for our residents. It was a meaningful way to raise awareness and show our support for those living with dementia. Completing the walk together was both uplifting and rewarding.”
