Every year, the Alzheimer’s Society hosts a national ‘Elf Day’ where anyone can get involved to raise money for dementia and care for those living with the condition.
The staff and residents at West Farm really got behind the cause and many team members came to work dressed as elves and what amazing elves they were!
On the day, a stall was organised selling some tasty treats as well as the opportunity to take part in a tombola; of which all proceeds were donated to the Alzheimer’s Society. Alongside this, staff and residents took part in a range of Christmas themed games.
Ashley White, a unit manager at West Farm who organised the day, said “What a fab time we all had dressed up as elves for the day!
“It was a wonderful effort from all involved and everyone really got into the spirit of the occasion. We even had a few naughty elves running around getting up to no good and squirting staff with cream every now and then which the residents found extremely amusing!”
Great support for a great cause; well done West Farm elves! Lots of fun was had and it was great to hear laughter ringing around our home.
