West Farm Care Centre Marks Dignity Day with Afternoon Tea

Residents, relatives and staff at West Farm Care Centre came together to celebrate Dignity Day with a special afternoon tea, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere filled with laughter, conversation and delicious treats.

Dignity Day is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of respect, independence and choice in care settings. At West Farm, this ethos is at the heart of everything the team does, ensuring that every resident feels valued and heard. The afternoon tea event was a chance to reinforce these values in a relaxed and social setting.

Residents and their loved ones enjoyed a selection of homemade cakes, scone and sandwiches. Conversations flowed easily as friends, family and team members shared stories and moments of connection.

Zahra Karimi our Manager at West Farm Care Centre said: “Dignity is about treating people with respect, giving them choices and making sure their voices are heard. Events like this create meaningful interactions that enhance the wellbeing of our residents. It’s wonderful to see everyone coming together to celebrate the values that make our community so special.”
