While fulfilling their day to day job at Craig Healthcare, some of our staff continue to study while gaining practical experience at the same time.
Carla Sibson and Jenna Kelly are carers at Cramlington House and they recently completed their Level 2 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care, meaning they both now officially hold a Level 2 Health and Social Care diploma.
Lucy Craig, Managing Director at Craig Healthcare, said: “Massive well done to Carla and Jenna for their achievements – we’re so proud of them! They’ve worked incredibly hard and achieving their Level 2 diploma is an absolute credit to both of them that demonstrates their passion and commitment to their job and an eagerness to continue to learn and develop their care provision skills. As a company, it’s important that we cater for members of the team to undertake apprenticeship programmes, gaining hands on experience from their role as a carer, complemented by professional qualifications. We want to provide a workplace environment that encourages staff to develop both personally and professionally, and apprenticeships are a great way to do this.”
