Our residents were recently treated to a live puppet show provided by an external company and what an afternoon it was!
Everyone involved genuinely engaged in the show, which was hugely interactive and enjoyable. Such activities are an important part of the care that we provide at Craig Healthcare as they help to improve social anxiety, calm nerves and generally are great for a resident’s wellbeing.
Activities coordinator Kim Stubbs said: “The singing puppets show was amazing, with residents thoroughly enjoying the afternoon. Live theatre and performances such as singing puppets are a wonderful way for residents to interact with those around them, feel relaxed and enjoy the company and communication with other people. Following the show, residents talked about it for hours and, as the photos show, you can see just how much they enjoyed themselves.”
