The love and support from our local communities has been unbelievable. Just look at all these wonderful and kind cards received by residents at West Farm!
Local school children wanted to put pencil to paper and share their kind words to help keep spirits up while our country in is lockdown.
Zahra Karmi, our deputy manager at West Farm, said: “It’s going to be a tough few months not being able to let our residents socialise and interact as they usually do but we are determined to do everything we can to ensure we keep them physically healthy and mentally well too.”
These lovely cards and words have touched our hearts and it was wonderful to see the reaction on residents’ faces when we read the cards and letters aloud. Thank you so much, it really means the world to us!”
Meanwhile at Cramlington House, residents have been creating signs to remind people about the importance of staying safe and that, if we all stay at home, there will be light at the end of this tunnel.
Janice Wilkinson, our manager at Cramlington House, said: “It was a great activity to get residents involved in – painting and writing letters – that now decorate the windows of our home to remind the local community, our families and our friends that we must stay safe during these difficult times.”
