We’re delighted to be supporting the Town Mayor of Cramlington, Loraine de Simone, and her dementia and stroke awareness fundraiser at the end of the month!
Craig Healthcare will be in attendance to help Loraine raise as much money as possible for the Alzheimer’s Society and The Stroke Association which is taking place at St Nicholas’ Church on Wednesday 30th October at 7pm.
Loraine will open the event by saying few words about the charities that lie close to her heart and after that, there will be lots going on including the opportunity for people to get their blood pressure taken, a chance to enjoy a chat with a cuppa while perhaps enjoying one of the many delicious homemade goodies such as cakes, jams and scones that will be on sale. Bric and brac and book stalls will also be present, and all money raised will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Society and The Stroke Association.
Talking about the fundraiser, our General Manager Loraine Brunton, said: “It’s great that the Town Mayor of Cramlington is championing two charities that we’re fully supportive of and have a lot of connection with through the residents we care for.
“We’re really keen to show our support and we’ll be renting a table at the event – in exchange for a £10 donation – selling some of the residents’ baked treats to raise money for such vital causes as well as contributing to the raffle. Every penny genuinely counts so if you’d like to offer your support too, it would be most appreciative.”
At the fundraiser, you can rent a table to sell homemade produce and goods. The Town Mayor is also looking for raffle prizes. For more information, please contact Loraine De Simone on lorainedesimone@aol.com
