At Cramlington House, we have our very own Gentleman’s club where our male residents can pop in to relax, catch up with other male companions and socialise. They especially enjoy going when it’s a race day – we have lots of horse racing fans!
However, our Gentleman’s Club is more than just a space for relaxation and socialisation. It’s a hub where our male residents can engage in meaningful conversations, share stories, and enjoy the thrill of race days. The club plays a crucial role in promoting mental and emotional wellbeing, offering a sense of community and belonging that is vital for our residents’ overall health.
Kim Stubbs, our wellbeing champion at Cramlington House, said: “The Gentleman’s Club at Cramlington House is a key part of the care and support we provide for our male residents. It’s wonderful to see how these social interactions boost their spirits, enhance their wellbeing, and bring so much joy into their lives. The club is not just a place to unwind; it’s a sanctuary where friendships are formed and memories are created.”
Such a unique care environment highlights the bespoke, resident-centred ethos at Craig Healthcare and demonstrates our commitment to the holistic wellbeing of residents, ensuring they have access to activities and spaces that enrich their lives in meaningful ways.
