To recognise this year’s Children in Need national fundraiser, Pudsey bear came to visit residents at Cramlington House. It was a very pleasant surprise for residents who were not expecting a visit from the giant cuddly teddy bear!
Pudsey arrived in great spirits and gave out lots and lots of warm, snuggly cuddles which were hugely appreciated by our residents. Touch is one of the key senses we look to activate and develop as part of resident’s ongoing care and this visit played a part in stimulating the sense of touch in residents and how that feels, boosting their mental health and overall wellbeing.
