We’re delighted to announce that our first Cramlington House residents and relatives meeting of 2020 is taking place on Thursday 28th January from 3pm.
The meetings are a key highlight in our monthly calendar and it would be so good to see everyone at the beginning of a brand new decade!
The meeting gives residents, and their families, an opportunity to discuss how they’re feeling, feedback on the elements of Cramlington House and the care we provide that they enjoy and also any ideas or issues they might like to discuss in detail. For example, this could be a suggestion for a new activity or specific outing that residents participate in throughout the year.
Janice Wilkinson, our manager at Cramlington House, said: “A relative or friend’s feedback on the care that a resident receives is highly valuable as is of course the thoughts and opinions of the resident.
“Family members and close friends can give us extremely helpful information and even advice that will help us to provide an even better level of care that we are currently doing.
“The staff do an amazing job and that’s reflected in the happiness of residents but we can’t rest on our laurels; no matter how good the care provision is there’s always room for improvement. That could be something like a very small change in a particular process that in fact makes a big difference to a resident’s life and time with us at Cramlington House.
“It’s also a good chance to catch up with everyone; their plans for the new year and what we have in store to ensure are residents are as happy and healthy as possible.”
It would be great to see you all; hot beverages and some snacks will be provided. For more information, please contact Janice on 01670 591 930.
