We would just like to say a HUGE thank you to all of you that attended our Easter Fayre last weekend.
It was a huge success, raising over £1,500 which we are blown away by!
The afternoon was very busy with lots of activities and fun taking place including face painting and interactive games including ‘guess how many eggs in the jar’ and ‘name the bunny’. A tombola and raffle with amazing prizes also took place and there were plenty of crafts and sweets stalls.
The Easter bunny also paid us a visit, chatting to residents, their relatives and staff. She proved to be a big hit with everyone, chatting away and taking selfies with visitors who really enjoyed meeting her!
Talking about the success of the fayre, our Wellbeing Champion Kim Stubbs said: “We are so overwhelmed with the turn out – it was a very busy and enjoyable afternoon with lots of smiles and laughter ringing around Cramlington House. We simply cannot believe we raised £1,528 in total.”
“All of the money will go directly towards our residents’ funds which is used to arrange activities and outings, as part of their wellbeing care plans. It means a great deal to us all and will help to ensure residents benefit from the very best of activities and experiences that are tailored to their specific care needs. Huge thanks to each and everyone of you who helped make the day a success – we couldn’t have done it without you!”
We’d like to give a special shout out to Asda Superstore in Blyth and the store’s community champion, Diane Dinning, who took on the role of the Easter Bunny for the afternoon. The Asda Community programme is designed to help make the community around the store a better place to live, work and grow and we really appreciate Diane’s help in the role she played in making our Easter Fayre a memorable one!
