It’s been such a long time since we’ve been able to do this but Holywell House recently experienced a wonderful pantomime performance which we all thoroughly enjoyed!
Performed by North East Producers, the show was amazing. They performed Annie and it really couldn’t have been any better! So much laughter, delight and beaming smiles around the room, which we absolutely love to see!
Gemma Wilson, manager at Holywell House, said: “We’ve missed all live performances so much but while we could do car park singing during the worst of the pandemic or have performers able to stand on the patio or in our garden as they entertained residents safely inside, there was nothing we could do about pantomimes. We’ve missed them so much and this one really was incredible. The residents interacted throughout the whole show. In fact, I don’t know who loved it more, the residents or staff! The performance really was absolutely brilliant and we can’t wait to have them back again already!”
Pantomimes are a great activity for residents to be involved in as they are fully immersed in the show, engaging their minds while providing a source of enjoyment that relaxes them and makes them feel content and happy.
