With the days getting shorter and the weather turning colder, out comes the warming winter foods, offering comfort and familiarity at this time of year.
We celebrated the arrival of autumn at West Farm with some delightfully delicious fish and chips that the residents absolutely devoured.
Our activities coordinator, Tracy White said: “it was lovely to see the smiles across every resident’s face. They really enjoyed their fish and chip lunch which offered a great comfort and chance to unwind in what’s been a particularly challenging time.
“While things are still tough and our normal activities and visiting arrangements, it’s great to provide special little treats like this as it allows us all to come together and enjoy the here and now and simply live in the moment.”
“Residents were interacting, enjoying their food and following their fish and chips were lovely and relaxed and feeling super content. It’s moments like these that mean the world to us, we love nothing more than seeing our residents – your loved ones – happy and content.”
