New Year Craft Making

West Farm residents welcomed the New Year by creating handmade crafts that added a splash of colour and personality to the home. The crafting session gave everyone a chance to come together, share a laugh, and mark the arrival of 2025.

Using glitter, ribbons, and other materials, residents designed decorations that reflected their own styles. Whether it was a bright star or a simple ornament, each piece carried a personal touch. The room buzzed with activity as residents focused on their creations, occasionally exchanging stories or offering each other encouragement.

Zahra Karimi, our manager at West Farm, said: “Activities like this are about more than the crafts themselves. They’re about creating connections and giving residents a sense of achievement. It’s wonderful to see everyone so engaged and enjoying themselves.”

The finished decorations now hang proudly throughout the home, adding warmth and personality to the space. This simple, hands-on activity set a positive tone for the year ahead, reminding everyone of the value of creativity and community.
