Cramlington House residents were treated to a festive pantomime experience with a production of Jack and the Beanstalk by the very talented North East producers. The travelling panto brought the magic of live theatre directly into their living room, captivating the audience with the classic tale of adventure and wonder.
There are many benefits of watching a pantomime for the residents – it’s not just entertainment; it stimulates the mind through storytelling, encourages social interaction, and evokes a sense of nostalgia. It was a great afternoon and the laughter and participation that panto uniquely encourages are wonderful for lifting spirits and enhancing the overall wellbeing of our residents.
Our Activity Coordinator at Cramlington House, Kim Stubbs, said “Seeing the joy on our residents’ faces as they followed Jack’s adventures was truly priceless. The panto provided not only laughter and entertainment but also a cherished opportunity for our residents to connect with their youthful spirits and each other. This special event is just one of the many ways Cramlington House enriches the lives of those in their care.”
