At Holywell House, we believe that little moments can bring the greatest joy, and our recent ice cream day proved just that! Residents gathered in the garden to enjoy a afternoon filled with laughter, sunshine, and, of course, plenty of ice cream.
From vanilla to chocolate fudge, a variety of flavours were on offer, and residents were invited to create their own sweet combinations with toppings like sprinkles, chocolate sauce, and fresh fruit. The smiles were infectious as everyone savoured their chosen treats while sharing stories and enjoying each other’s company.
Janet Sothcott, our Health and Wellbeing Coordinator at Holywell House, said: “It’s wonderful to see everyone coming together and enjoying a simple pleasure like ice cream. These social activities are so important for our residents’ emotional and mental well-being. They help create a sense of community and bring a lot of happiness to everyone involved.”
It was a perfect day that reminded us of the joy found in everyday pleasures. A big thank you to our team for organising such a fun-filled afternoon!
