Halloween was a spooktacular occasion at Cramlington House, as residents enjoyed a day filled with costumes, sweets, pumpkins and plenty of smiles alongside staff and their families.
The home was filled with excitement when staff brought along their children, together with residents’ grandchildren, for some special Halloween fun. Dressed in an array of spooky costumes, the little trick-or-treaters made their way around Cramlington House, knocking on doors and visiting residents as they collected their Halloween treats.
The residents loved seeing the children dressed up and were delighted to play their part in the celebrations by handing out sweets. From spooky witches and ghouls to other wonderfully imaginative costumes, there were plenty of smiles and laughter as the children made their way around the home.
For many of the residents, it was a lovely opportunity to enjoy the excitement of Halloween with younger generations and create some special memories together. The trick-or-treating brought a wonderful sense of fun and energy to the home, with residents enjoying watching the children’s reactions as they received their treats.
Later in the day, the Halloween celebrations continued as residents got creative with some traditional pumpkin carving. With pumpkins ready to be transformed, residents enjoyed getting involved and preparing them for the dark Halloween night.
Pumpkin carving provided another opportunity for residents to spend time together, get creative and enjoy the seasonal celebrations.
Halloween is always a wonderful opportunity to bring different generations together, and this year’s celebrations at Cramlington House certainly did that.
A big thank you goes to all the staff, children and grandchildren who helped make Halloween at Cramlington House such a memorable occasion!
