Green Theme for St Patrick’s Day

Residents at Holywell House Care Home celebrate St Patrick’s Day in March enjoying an afternoon filled with laughter, creativity and delicious themed treats. The home was transformed with touches of green and festive decorations, creating a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Alongside the entertainment, residents were treated to a variety of themed refreshments carefully prepared by the team. Green melon mocktails proved to be a refreshing favourite, offering a festive twist while ensuring everyone could join in the celebration. The drinks were complemented by an impressive selection of themed biscuits, cakes and fruit platters, all thoughtfully presented to match the St Patrick’s Day spirit.

A particularly popular addition was the 0% Guinness, giving residents the chance to enjoy the iconic drink in a way that suited everyone. It added an authentic touch to the celebration and sparked conversations, with some residents reminiscing about past St Patrick’s Day celebrations and sharing stories with one another.
