At Holywell House Care Home, love isn’t just something we offer our residents. It’s also something that blossomed beautifully among our own team. In a heart warming turn of events, staff members Jeanette and Richard, who met while working together at the care home, tied the knot last month and are now officially Mr. and Mrs. Bolton.
Their journey from colleagues to life partners has been a joy to witness. Over the years, Jeanette and Richard’s friendship grew stronger through shared shifts, laughter, and a mutual dedication to the wellbeing of those in their care. Their bond was evident to everyone around them, and when they announced their engagement, the entire team at Craig Healthcare was thrilled.
The wedding was a celebration not just of their love, but of the spirit of togetherness that defines Holywell House. Staff and residents alike shared in the excitement, offering their congratulations and helping make the day truly special. One particularly sweet touch came from Home Manager Julie McMurrough, who took it upon herself to bake the wedding cake. Julie’s creation was more than just a dessert; it was a symbol of the love and support that surrounds Jeanette and Richard every day at work.
Julie said: “It was an absolute honour to make the cake for Jeanette and Richard. Seeing two people who care so deeply for others find that same care in each other is incredibly moving. We’re all so proud and happy for them.”
The newlyweds have expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support from their colleagues and residents. Their story is a reminder that love can be found in the most unexpected places!
Congratulations to Jeanette and Richard Bolton! May your life together be filled with joy, laughter, and the same kindness you’ve always shared with others.
