We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our live car park celebration in the final ‘Clap for Carers’ yesterday. Each and every one of our team really do deserve your support for their amazing hard work over the last three months during the coronavirus pandemic.
Either via the big screen or in person, people connected to the home whether that was a member of staff, families of loved ones who live at Cramlington House or West Farm, or of course Cramlington House residents themselves. For those unable to be there in person, they joined via video link in the final national ‘Clap For Carers’ celebration which became a weekly highlight during the worst weeks of the pandemic.
Lucy Craig, our Managing Director, said: “I cannot thank our staff enough for their continued hard work, passion and high-quality care throughout such a very testing and tragic time. They’ve been absolutely amazing and I’m in awe at how well they’ve rolled their sleeves up and soldiered on, getting on with the job while providing continued first-class care as they always do.”
“I also want to give a special mention to our families for being so understanding and patiently waiting to see your loved ones again. I can only imagine how difficult it has been to not spend face to face time with them or hug one another and laugh and smile in close company. I’m delighted to say we are soon able to allow garden visits to take place adhering to strict social distancing measures and we can’t wait to welcome you back into Cramlington House and West Farm.”
Finally, I also want to assure you though that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your loved one has remained as happy and healthy as possible during this traumatic period. Thank you to each and everyone one of you for your continued support. It does not go unnoticed and is massively appreciated.”
