Wow, our Christmas fairs at both Cramlington House and West Farm Care Centre were absolutely fantastic with Cramlington House raising £1,400 and West Farm £805.
We had such a wonderful turnout and we would like to thank each and every one of you who came along; we hope you had a brilliant time.
The staff and residents worked really hard to ensure there were lots on offer including stalls brimming with festive food and drink, lots of games as well as a tombola and raffle that took place.
Emma Jones, our Communications Manager, said: “The fairs at both homes went incredibly well and there was a great turnout from family and friends of residents and staff as well as those who live locally.
“It was wonderful to see everyone have fun, get involved with the various games that has been arranged and also take part in the prize draws. We also received a visit from a very special visitor; Santa Claus himself that went down a treat especially with the children who came along on the day.
“Both fairs raised nearly £2,300 collectively which is incredible. All of the money raised will be donated to the residents’ fund we have at each home that’s used to help pay for social occasions and outings for the residents, so all donations really are appreciated!”
