The festive season at Holywell House was filled with joy, laughter, and heart‑warming moments, but one event in particular stood out as a highlight for residents and staff alike – our Festive Breakfast with Santa. This special morning brought the magic of Christmas right into the heart of our home, creating memories that residents will cherish for years to come.
The dining room was transformed into a cosy Christmas haven, complete with twinkling lights, festive decorations, and the comforting aroma of a warm breakfast being prepared. Residents gathered together, excited for the morning ahead, sharing stories of Christmases past and enjoying the cheerful atmosphere.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for – the arrival of Santa himself. With a jolly smile, a hearty “Ho, ho, ho,” and a sack full of festive cheer, Santa made his way around the room, greeting each resident personally. The joy on residents’ faces was unmistakable.
Breakfast was a delicious spread of warm pastries, fruit, traditional cooked favourites, and of course, plenty of hot tea and coffee. Residents enjoyed their meal while chatting with Santa, posing for photos, and sharing their Christmas wishes. For many, the visit brought back fond memories of family traditions and festive gatherings from years gone by.
Our staff played a huge part in making the morning so special. It was a true team effort, and the joy it brought to residents made it all worthwhile.
Events like this are at the heart of what we do at Craig Healthcare. They bring people together, spark meaningful conversations, and create moments of happiness that brighten the season.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s festivities – but for now, we’re holding onto the warmth and smiles that this special morning brought to Holywell House.
