Our residents at West Farm were treated to a lovely and engaging art session delivered by Equal Arts, a local creative charity supporting older people and those living with dementia. The session aimed to stimulate creativity and foster a sense of community among the residents. The event was a huge success, with attendees of all abilities participating enthusiastically in various art activities.
The session included a variety of artistic projects, from collaging with colourful materials to painting and drawing. The residents really loved and demonstrated some amazing creativity and enthusiasm, resulting in a delightful range of artwork that brought smiles and laughter to everyone involved.
One resident said, “I had such a wonderful time. It was so nice to try something new and creative.” The hands-on activities not only provided an outlet for artistic expression but also encouraged social interaction and mental stimulation, proving to be highly beneficial for the residents’ wellbeing.
