Cramlington House recently transported residents and their families straight to the heart of Italy with its very first Italian Night. The evening was filled with delicious food, laughter, and a touch of friendly competition. The event was a resounding success, bringing everyone together to enjoy the rich flavours and warm spirit of Italy.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Our talented chef crafted a mouth watering three-course menu that had everyone delighted. Guests enjoyed classic starters, and traditional pizza and pasta with garlic bread followed by a delicious home-made dessert.
The dining room was beautifully decorated with Italian flags, green, white and red napkins, and soft music playing in the background, creating an authentic and inviting atmosphere of an Italian restaurant, whilst residents and their families shared stories and savoured every bite.
After the feast, the fun continued with a lively Italian-themed quiz. Everyone joined in to answer questions about Italian landmarks, famous dishes, and even a few classic phrases in Italian.
Staff were on hand throughout the evening, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and included. It was such a success, we are already planning for future themed evenings based around different cuisines from around the world.
