At West Farm and Cramlington House, staff and residents came together to support Children in Need, embracing the spirit of giving while having plenty of fun in the process. The home hosted a variety of activities throughout the day, with everyone getting involved to raise funds for this important cause. From wearing cozy spots and bright colours to hosting a fun-filled bake sale, there was no shortage of excitement. Even Pudsey himself paid a visit to those in Cramlington.
Kim Stubbs, our wellbeing champion at Cramlington House, said: “Children in Need is a cause that really resonates with us across all three of our homes. It was wonderful to see both staff and residents come together to raise money for children in need. It’s moments like these that highlight the sense of community we have and I’m so proud of everyone for their generosity and enthusiasm.”
Residents took part in making their own spotty decorations, while staff organised games and quizzes that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit. The day ended with a well-attended charity raffle, raising even more funds for Children in Need. It was a day of fun, laughter and giving back, showing just how much spirit and compassion thrives within the Craig Healthcare community.
