Celebrating Sports Day at West Farm Care Centre

Recently, West Farm Care Centre hosted a brilliant Sports Day that brought smiles, laughter and a spirit of friendly competition to our community. The day was filled with a variety of fun activities tailored to suit everyone’s abilities, including a javelin throw, target practice, bean bag toss and other engaging games that encouraged residents to participate, challenge themselves and enjoy a day full of excitement and joy.

Zahra Karimi, our manager at West Farm, said: “The Sports Day was a tremendous success! It was heartwarming to see our residents engage with such enthusiasm and to witness the smiles and laughter that filled our home. The event was not only about physical activity but also a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bonds between residents, staff and volunteers, creating a sense of unity and belonging.”

Every participant received a certificate and medal, celebrating their efforts and achievements and the proud smiles of the winners lit up the room. Beyond the sports, the day offered opportunities for socialising, cheering each other on and building deeper connections. It was a great day that celebrated togetherness, wellbeing and the unique spirit of each resident.
