Cramlington House recently hosted a lively bingo session, bringing residents together for a classic game that’s always a hit. Bingo is more than just entertainment for our residents; it’s a chance to socialise, engage their minds and enjoy the thrill of competition in a warm, friendly environment. Residents eagerly marked off their numbers, sharing laughter and encouraging each other as they got closer to shouting, “Bingo!”
Our Wellbeing Champion at Cramlington House Kim Stubbs said: “Bingo has a special place here. It’s simple yet brings so much joy. It encourages residents to focus and use their memory and the excitement of possibly winning adds that extra spark to the day. The smiles and cheers are contagious!”
Playing bingo regularly helps keep cognitive skills sharp, provides a sense of purpose and strengthens community bonds among residents. With each game, they not only get to test their luck but also share some friendly competition. For many, these bingo sessions have become a cherished part of the weekly routine, reminding us all of the importance of togetherness and the joy of simple pleasures.
