Holywell House Care Centre residents were treated to a wonderful presentation on the life of the legendary actress and humanitarian, Audrey Hepburn recently by a very lovely guest, Linda Davidson. Linda visited our home and discussed in detail Audrey’s illustrious career and her profound philanthropic work.
Julie McMurrough, our Holywell House Manager, said: “It was a delightful experience for everyone. The talk was informative and engaging, offering a glimpse into Audrey’s remarkable journey through life. Our residents truly enjoyed it and were quite animated during the discussion that followed. It’s these kinds of activities that enrich our community here at Holywell House.”
The presentation included a walk through Audrey’s early years, her rise to stardom, and her enduring legacy. The residents, some of whom have admired Hepburn’s work for many years, were visibly moved by stories of her grace on and off the screen.
This event is one of the many ways Craig Healthcare supports the cultural enrichment of our residents, fostering an atmosphere of lifelong learning and appreciation for the arts.
