As Managing Director of Craig Healthcare, Lucy has over 25 years’ experience of care and delivering exceptional care services to the community. Lucy also runs a local children’s nursery - Kinder Castle - in Tynemouth. On the rare occasion when Lucy is not working, she loves nothing more than to devote her time and attention to her son Max.
Ray is Operations Manager at Craig Healthcare and oversees the day to day running of our three homes, working and supporting the Home Managers with any daily issues. Ray has over 40 years’ experience in the care industry of which 15 years have been in management roles. He holds several care-specific qualifications and strives to promote high standards of care at all times. Dignity, respect, empathy and compassion is always at the heart of his work and any care delivery . Outside of work, Ray enjoys cooking ,walking ,listening to music and spending time with his family .
Sarah has worked in care for 23 years is the Home Manager at Cramlington House. She is passionate about ensuring our residents get the best care possible. Her role as manager is to oversee the smooth running of the home, ensuring that all residents and staff needs are met. Sarah likes to spend time with her family in her spare time. She enjoys going for dog walks and exploring new places.
Ashleigh is Deputy Manager at Cramlington House who has worked in care for 20 years. She has spent the last decade working across the Craig Healthcare organisation. Her role is to support the Home Manager as well as care staff. Ashleigh enjoys cooking in her spare time and spending time with her family as well as watching TV series and reading.
As Wellbeing Champion at Cramlington House, Kim’s main role is to provide a detailed activities programme that meets the specific needs of each resident as an individual. Her focus is to ensure the activities programme is delivered well and runs smoothly day in, day out. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with her family and escaping from it all with hot tub holidays for an ultimate relaxation experience!
Lisa is a Wellbeing Assistant at Cramlington House and her main role is to support Kim in preparing and delivering the residents' activity programme. When she is not at work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two children, and meeting up with family and friends for lunch. She also enjoy holidays abroad in the sunshine.
Michael is the Head Chef at Cramlington House and has been a Craig Healthcare employee for 15 years. He also oversees food creation and delivery at Holywell House and West Farm Care Centre. Michael is renowned for providing a variety of homemade delicious food to residents. When he’s not at work, Michael likes reading and exploring the world with frequent trips abroad.
Amber is an Administrator at Cramlington House and is the first person to meet and greet all guests upon entry and direct them to the relevant unit or person. Amber assist's with general day to day queries and works closely with Sarah and the finance team. When not working, Amber enjoys spending time with her daughter, Ayla and is a keen cake baker.
Lorraine 'Lottie' has worked for the company for 12 months. Her role as Head Housekeeper means she oversees the housekeeping staff and ensures cleaning supplies are stocked up and the home is kept clean and tidy. Lottie enjoys socialising with friends on a weekend and she likes to sew. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Zahra is Home Manager of West Farm after joining Craig Healthcare as a Care Assistant in September 2009. She leads a team of 68 staff members and 50 residents. Zahra has a lot of experience in care especially dementia care and has an admirable passion for her work. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves to read poems and write short stories.
In her role as administrator, Gillian sits in the front main reception room at West Farm and is the first person you meet as you walk through the doors. Gillian knows the home like the back of her hand so she can tell you where you need to be or help with locating a resident or staff member. When not at work, Gillian enjoys watching her son play football, which is something she absolutely loves and she can’t imagine her weekends without it. Gillian also loves to spend time with her family.
Louise is Deputy Manager at West Farm and supports Zahra in leading the home and overseeing day to day operations. She has been a Craig Healthcare employee for over 10 years and worked in care for nearly three decades and is highly passionate about the care sector and her job at West Farm. When not at work, Louise enjoys spending time with family and friends and keeping active.
John joined West Farm as kitchen assistant in 2017. He is now the home's Head Chef. When he joined, the role was his first catering job. John has learnt so much about food and cooking home made nutritious meals since he has been here and prepares delicious balanced meals for residents on a daily basis. When not at work, John enjoys relaxing in his spare time and catching up with family and friends
Our Head Housekeeper, Mary joined Holywell House Care Centre just over a year ago. With over 20 years of experience in the care sector, Mary excels in her role and is an asset to the team. Her hobbies include travelling, enjoying meals out and gardening.
Albert has worked at Holywell House Care Centre since 2020 and has been integral to the maintenance of the building. From replacing plug sockets to organising contractors to visit the home, Albert expertly manages it all. Albert is also our Health and Safety Champion as well as our Fire Safety Officer. When not at work, Albert enjoys his time off with his family and a nice glass of wine.
A highly passionate care practitioner, Julie joined the Craig Healthcare group in 2021 as Deputy Manager of West Farm Care Centre. She moved to Holywell House Care Centre in early 2022 to become the home’s manager. Her main responsibility is to ensure that Holywell House runs smoothly on a day to day basis, delivering exceptional care. In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family including her sons Thomas and Karl.
Janet has been the Wellbeing Champion at Holywell House Care Centre for over a year now. Her main responsibility is to create and deliver engaging and varied activities that all residents can participate in, that best support their physical, mental, emotional and social health. She has a great rapport with each of our residents and her bond with them all is clear to see during the daily activities they take part in. When not at work, Janet enjoys time with family and friends and holidaying abroad in the sun.
Ryan is the Head Chef at Holywell House Care Centre and has worked in kitchens for over a decade. He originally started in restaurants and hotels but years ago decided to take up a chef role in a care home and he’s never looked back. He loves working with residents to create the best dining experience he can for them, and to make sure they are eating healthy, well-balanced meals.
