Our residents at Cramlington House had a brilliant time celebrating Halloween! This year, residents, staff members and their relatives came together to create an atmosphere brimming with spooks and smiles.
The home was decorated Halloween style with lots of fancy dress on display. Residents loved the occasion with staff and their families joining in, some sporting spooky makeup and hats, contributing to the fun-filled afternoon.
The celebration was packed with activities, including pumpkin carving, apple dunking, a costume contest, and sharing ghost stories too. Laughter echoed around the room, and everyone had a really lovely time.
Kim Stubbs, our activities coordinator at Cramlington House, said: “Halloween here is much more than dress-up and decoration. It’s a magical time that truly brings everyone together, creating a sense of community and belonging. Seeing the smiles on residents’ faces, hearing their laughter – it’s a reminder of the vibrant spirit that lives within these walls. It’s these moments that remind me that carers have the most rewarding and fulfilling job.”
