There was plenty of excitement at Cramlington House recently as residents and their families came together for a fun-filled ‘Night at the Dogs’.
The family evening gave everyone the chance to enjoy some quality time together, with plenty of food, laughter and friendly competition along the way.
Residents and their loved ones tucked into a traditional favourite of pie and peas while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the evening. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together in a relaxed setting, with residents able to share the experience with the people who matter most to them.
Events like these are an important part of life at Cramlington House. While activities and entertainment are planned with residents in mind, inviting families to join in makes them even more special. It creates opportunities for shared experiences and gives relatives the chance to become part of everyday life at the home.
The ‘Night at the Dogs’ theme also brought a sense of occasion to the evening, with residents enjoying the excitement and anticipation that comes with a night of racing-inspired fun.
For the team at Cramlington House, creating these opportunities is about much more than simply organising an activity. It is about bringing people together, encouraging conversation and creating memories that residents and their families can look back on.
Judging by the smiles and conversations throughout the evening, the event certainly proved popular.
At Cramlington House, there is always something happening for residents to enjoy, whether it is a special themed event, a family get-together or one of the many activities taking place throughout the week.
The ‘Night at the Dogs’ was another lovely example of how the home creates opportunities for residents, families and staff to enjoy time together, and perhaps there will be another family night at the races before too long!
