Residents of Cramlington House were treated to a delightful festive outing a few weeks ago as they visited the Phoenix Theatre in Blyth to watch the Silver Belles Christmas Show. The trip was filled with excitement, laughter, and the unmistakable sparkle of Christmas spirit, making it one of the season’s most memorable events.
The Phoenix Theatre, known for its warm community feel and fantastic productions, provided the perfect setting for a festive day out. Staff ensured everyone was comfortably seated, and soon the lights dimmed. The Silver Belles performance was a joyful blend of music, comedy, dance, and heart‑warming storytelling. Residents were captivated by the lively performances, festive costumes, and the talented cast who brought the stage to life.
For many, the show brought back memories of past theatre trips, Christmas pantomimes, and family outings. The shared experience created a wonderful sense of togetherness, with residents chatting excitedly during the interval and reflecting on their favourite scenes afterwards.
The outing also offered a valuable opportunity for residents to enjoy a change of scenery and engage with the local community. Being able to experience live entertainment is something we prioritise at Craig Healthcare, as it enriches daily life and supports emotional wellbeing.
